Ancillary: Production of the digipak

I have now begun to produce my digipak using Adobe Photoshop for Adara Black's album 'Love Killer'. Below are screenshots showing the actual production taking place.

Producing the inside. I have used dark petals as an incorporation of synergy as the chorus to the video of the lead single includes the artists throwing black petals. Also, Adara is wearing a 'Love' bracelet, which she also wears in the video; this became a synergous object. I have used a monotone colour scheme to match with the colour of the petals, and this allows for a modern look and visual feel.

For the CD Design, I thought that by designing the CD in opposing colours, it would stand when opening up the digipak. Since this is the main object which actually contains the media, I thought it was important that I signify this through visual means. I again incorporated rose petals as the synergous object. To the right,, we see Adara Black posing in the middle of the soundtrack credits, which have been put under each song title. 

For the advert, I have decided to use an image of one of the locations from the music video of the lead single on the album 'Love Killer' in order to create another strong link between the album, advert, and music video. Furthermore, petals have again been incorporated, the second link made between all three products. This makes it easy for audiences to distinguish that the media products are all related.
