Research: Costume and Setting analysis

 Music Video Analysis

In class group 29 were given the task to analyse 3 music videos on the basis of costume, settings and props. After which were asked to choose our favourite one and analyse on a closer and more in depth scale. 

We chose to analyse Chris Brown's "Don't think they know" and created a timetoast timeline of costume and setting changes and how often they occur. From doing this task we identified 10 base tracks. Which consisted of 10 costume changes and 7 location changes; one location was used several times but different costume changes which is the reason for the lesser locations.
