We plan to incorporate synergy through the reappearance of set colour schemes within the three productions. As a group, we also discussed having a prop to be the central theme, in this instance, incorporating a black rose across all media products. In the music video, we suggested having the placement of black petals in an appropriate section of the production. Furthermore, this black rose will reappear on the digipak used to promote the artist and her music, or something in relation to the rose, such as the petals again.
We want to use similar colour schemes, such as using black, white, blue across all products. Through our choice of location and availability of props, we believe that we are taking a realistic approach in terms of sticking to this colour scheme. We also plan to incorporate other colours. From the research conducted, it is evident that a selection of colours used cross-media prove to be successful in terms of marketing to audiences. The most popular female pop artists include many colours on promotional materials such as single covers, which also reappear in the form of filters, costume etc. in music videos.
